Advice
Compared to Mt. Miyanoura, this route requires less time and physical effort, making it a popular choice for those looking to enjoy a hike at a more relaxed pace. It is also recommended for new hikers looking to take on their first challenging route. The breathtaking views at the summit—worthy of the name “Alps on the Ocean”—offer a deep sense of accomplishment and awe at the mountain’s grandeur.Since the panoramic view from the peak is the main highlight of this hike, it is best to consider an alternative such as Mt. Tachu, which offers a similar level of difficulty, on days when clear weather is not expected. The trail crosses the tree line at around 1,700 m.
At certain times of year, sun protection is essential.
